We are excited to announce that we will be showcasing our exquisite range of Forge de Laguiole products at the Good Food & Wine Show in Melbourne from 30th May to 1st June 2025, and in Sydney from 20th to 22nd June 2025. After a great experience at the Sydney Good Food & Wine Christmas Market in 2024, where we were humbled by the big interest in Forge de Laguiole, we are excited to step up to its grand counterpart — Australia’s premier culinary celebration — with over 300 stalls in each city and tens of thousands of food and wine lovers in attendance.
A Taste of What’s to Come: From Christmas Market to the Main Event
Last year, we dipped our toes into the vibrant world of the Good Food & Wine Christmas Market, and the response was incredible. It was our first time participating in the festive pop-up, and the level of curiosity and appreciation for our handcrafted French cutlery and sommelier knives was eye opening. It was clear that Australian food lovers value quality, beauty, and tradition — everything Forge de Laguiole represents.
That experience solidified our decision to take part in the flagship Good Food & Wine Shows in Melbourne and Sydney. These shows are iconic, immersive events that bring together the best local and international food, wine, and lifestyle brands under one roof.
What is the Good Food & Wine Show?
The Good Food & Wine Show (GFWS) has been a staple of Australia’s culinary calendar since its inception in 2001. Over the past two decades, the show has become a beloved event for gourmets, home cooks, sommeliers, and anyone passionate about good taste.
With shows held annually in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth, the GFWS draws over 100,000 visitors nationally each year. The Melbourne and Sydney shows are the two largest, each featuring 300+ exhibitors, wine masterclasses, live cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs, and more.
This year’s Melbourne event will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (MCEC)—right in the heart of South Wharf—and the Sydney event will take place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Darling Harbour.
