For the ultimate collector, nothing surpasses the Mammoth Collection. Sourced from the frozen permafrost of Siberia, these materials are not just rare, they are relics of the Ice Age. Holding a product from this collection is a humbling experience, connecting you to a creature that roamed the Earth thousands of years ago.

This exclusive collection offers three distinct variants:

  • Heart of Mammoth Ivory: This handle is crafted from the inner core of the tusk. It is smooth, dense, and creamy, often displaying subtle striations of beige, tan, and soft brown that have developed over millennia of mineralization. It is the epitome of elegance, offering a polished finish that feels cool and glass-like in the hand.

  • Bark of Mammoth Ivory: For those who crave texture, the "Bark" is the outer layer of the tusk. Just like our Aubrac Cow Horn and Fossilised Oak Bark, this handle is shaped with a flat surface to preserve the original rugged exterior. It displays the raw, weathered history of the tusk, often stained in rich browns, blues, and greens by the minerals in the frozen soil where it lay for centuries.

  • Mammoth Molar: Available only very rarely—typically for special editions—this is the crown jewel of exotic materials. It is crafted from the actual fossilised tooth of the Mammoth. Stabilised with resin to ensure durability, it reveals a stunning, almost alien pattern of wavy enamel layers in contrasting colours. It is a visual masterpiece that looks more like a gemstone than organic material.

Where can it be found? These fossils are recovered from the permafrost in Siberia and Alaska. As the ice melts during the short summer months, these ancient treasures are revealed, allowing to be harvested without ever harming a living creature.

Where else is it used? Mammoth ivory and molar are prized in the world of high art and bespoke jewellery. They are often used as ethical alternatives to elephant ivory for inlays in high-end musical instruments, custom pool cues, and museum-quality sculptures.

Did you know? A single Mammoth molar is a massive grinding machine. Unlike human teeth, a Mammoth's molar looks like a series of flat plates fused together, perfect for grinding tough Ice Age grasses. An adult Woolly Mammoth would go through six sets of these teeth in its lifetime, much like a conveyer belt of dentistry!
