This exceptional wood comes from the rootstock and older parts of grape plants, making it a rare and sustainable material. Winestock wood is characterised by its rich, warm tones, ranging from golden to deep browns. The grain is often irregular and twisted, reflecting the unique growth patterns of the vine, which results in a distinctive and organic texture. This grain adds a natural elegance to each piece, making every handle one-of-a-kind.

Handcrafted in Laguiole, France, this Forge de Laguiole corkscrew features a striking Winestock handle, carved from the twisted trunks of retired grapevines. Naturally dense and rich in character, grapevine wood offers beautiful organic grain, unique to each piece, and a powerful connection to the world of wine.
