Handcrafted in Laguiole, France, this Forge de Laguiole corkscrew features a striking Winestock handle, carved from the twisted trunks of retired grapevines. Naturally dense and rich in character, grapevine wood offers beautiful organic grain, unique to each piece, and a powerful connection to the world of wine.

This premium corkscrew is assembled by a single master cutler using stainless steel, a finely tapered spiral for smooth cork removal, and a single-lever mechanism designed for balance and ease. The iconic hand-chiselled bee on the spine signifies the authenticity and craftsmanship of Forge de Laguiole — the only cutlery maker based in the village of Laguiole itself.

Winestock wood is a unique material used for handles in Forge de Laguiole products, sourced from grapevines of French vineyards. This exceptional wood comes from the rootstock and older parts of grape plants, making it a rare and sustainable material. Winestock wood is characterised by its rich, warm tones, ranging from golden to deep browns. The grain is often irregular and twisted, reflecting the unique growth patterns of the vine, which results in a distinctive and organic texture.
